The first ever Let Me Play Basketball Camps took place in Eindhoven in the Netherlands in August 2004. Participants from 13 different countries flew in to attend the Summer Hoops Camp for 12 to 19 year olds and the Elite Players Camp for players aged 18 plus that had aspirations of playing professionally.
In year 2 (2005), the camps moved to the UK and were hosted at the Stoke Mandeville Stadium in Aylesbury. Participants and coaches from 21 different countries flew in to attend both the Summer Hoops Camp and the Elite Players Camp.
In year 3 (2006), the Summer Hoops Camp took place at the University of Wales in Cardiff (UWIC).
In year 4 (2007), the Summer Hoops Camp was moved to the Stoke Mandeville Stadium in Aylesbury where we hope it will stay!
